Hi, I can confirm that this bug is still not fixed for me.
With gnome-shell run from GDM3, I have no gnome-session process running, so the DBusSend is not doing anything. I also confirm that applying the DBusSend to gnome-settings-daemon instead of gnome-session properly fix the bug for me.
