I still got the bug on my X201 in January 2011, and the resume hang was almost 100% reproducible. I am running Linux 3.2.1 now, disabled the hook locally, and went through 5 suspend/resume cycles with a connected bluetooth headset and Rhythmbox running and playing through it, and it worked fine. Michael Biebl also confirmed that it works on his X220, so this can go. I'll commit that now.
