Package: fp-units-db Version: 2.4.0-2 Severity: important Tags: squeeze The Free Compiler shipped with Squeeze (2.4.0) is not able to call a MySQL stored procedure that returns a recordset.
This issue has been discussed here: http://lazarus.freepascal.org/index.php/topic,9074.0.html And here you can find the upstream bug report: http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=16236 with the corresponding patch. Please Note: * According to the upstream bug report, it seems that this problem has been fixed since version 2.4.1 of the compiler, and so it probably has been already fixed in Wheezy by now. However, I'm filing this report against Squeeze specifically, since it's the current stable release and the one in which this doesn't work as it should. * Like I mentioned on a previous bug report for this package, I realize that it's quite likely that this issue will never be fixed in Squeeze, even when there's an upstream patch that would be trivial to apply. Anyway, I thought that documenting this fact might help other developers coming across the same problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: 6.0.3 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.32-5-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fp-units-db depends on: ii fp-units-rtl 2.4.0-2 Free Pascal - Runtime Library fp-units-db recommends no packages. fp-units-db suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
