Work on it is in progress, feel free to test the git version on
non-production systems. Currently known issues:
- Building directly from git with dpkg-buildpackage (as opposed to using
pbuilder, git-buildpackage etc.) leaves changes in the po/ directory,
that should probably be documented in debian/README.source.
- The cron script may send mails complaining about missing md5 hashes,
see #638919.
Once these problems are solved, an upload should be possible. Would you
