Oh, good catch, thank you for the report. Reproduced, fixed, scheduled
for 2.3.3.

Well, internal errors are also supposed to catch some algorithmic
errors, and this is exactly what happened this time. If you see an
internal error displayed for package errors, please file separate bug(s)
for it :)
