Well, as the latest version of this libs (without the removed one) breaks an working program (dvdstyler) which I use quite often, it would be a good idea to either inculde it again or (as already pointed out in an eralier post) deliver it within an seperate package so the required lib is available and so working application are not just leftover as broken. That no application within main debian migth need it now doesn't mean it willnot be needed in future and as we have seen there are applications outside debian which rely on it.
