Hi Aron, I don't see why this is necessary. In Debian, libmysqlclient15-dev is the current version and we don't know in advance whether cvm will need any changes to support future versions. For the second bug I'd actually prefer the patch available in the BTS, but it's a minor change anyway. So I don't see why this NMU is scheduled and object against it unless there's something important I'm missing.
