Hi,
after the last update of your package upgrades from wheezy are not
working (they have not been tested before):

there is no script in the new version of the package - giving up
Even if defoma is no longer used the current package version, you need
to provide a clean upgrade path.
A minimal solution that will allow upgrades (but probably won't clean up
properly) is to ship a no-op prerm script in the package with a comment
like
# This is an intentionally empty prerm script to allow updates from
# older package versions that used debconf.
# This script can be completely removed after the wheezy release.
