Hello Thomas, as I just noticed, there is a new upstream version 1.0.1. The changelog states "Use Chromaprinter and Acoustid instead of Echoprint and MusicDNS." [1] I'm not sure, if this "fixes" the dependency-problem, but maybe you could take a look at it (I'm not really familiar with this, so I'm sorry I could not look up it myself).
