Ah, right. Would you please read the definiton of bug severities?:

grave
    makes the package in question unusable or mostly so, or causes data loss, 
or introduces a security hole allowing access to the accounts of users who use 
the package.

libreoffice-writer is not unuusable, it is not data loss and
it for sure is not a security bug.

Maybe it could be argued ro be important, but *shrugs* I'll set it to normal.
Severity inflation does not help. Seriously.

Try what Jack suggested (see my other mail=, please and report back.
