So, the problem is that the current writer's behavior is not corresponding to what the user expects when switching from the previous OpenOffice or from MS Office. Nothing tragic. Yes, this is not grave. In my humble opinion, it has to be fixed, though.

I am not going into a further discussion about what a right program behavior is. Dear maintainer, please feel free to operate with this bug report the way you wish.
