That is an ignorant release goal as there is no alternative to OSS. ALSA
never worked for me. Well, I was able to get some cracking bad noise out
of ALSA but never a hight quality sound than with OSS.

As written above, OSS is still the sound solution for high quality sound
on linux. More over it has a much better virtual mixer and is more
compatible to other Unix systems.

So please address this bug.
