Package: testdisk Version: 6.9-1.1 Severity: wishlist Hello, when trying to use testdisk and photorec to recuperate data from a friend's PC I noted that there was no cursor mark on my braille-display, this is due to the fact that there is no feature to force the app to follow the hardcursor; this causes mistakes in choosing for Intel or Xbox or so type because there isn't any X or - or _ _ or [ ] at the real cursor position: please can you inspire you from cfdisk's -a option to provide a similar -a or other option so that we can see a -> or zo where the cursor is pointing for choices ?
Without any -> or other indication testdisk/+photorec's usage is quite undermined (except when assistated). I hope you can help, thanks in advance. -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0.9 APT prefers oldstable APT policy: (500, 'oldstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-2-686 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=nl_BE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=nl_BE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages testdisk depends on: ii e2fslibs 1.41.3-1 ext2 filesystem libraries ii libc6 2.7-18lenny7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomerr2 1.41.3-1 common error description library ii libjpeg62 6b-14 The Independent JPEG Group's JPEG ii libncursesw5 5.7+20081213-1 shared libraries for terminal hand ii libntfs10 2.0.0-1 library that provides common NTFS ii libuuid1 1.41.3-1 universally unique id library testdisk recommends no packages. testdisk suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
