Well, for dcut an email is needed, which is why m is the natural thing.
I always use -m for debsign as well, but that might be me being
different in a nonconforming way.

Do you frequently use different keys to sign debian stuff?
I'd basically assume that most people just use one key and might as well
use DEBSIGN_KEYID in their ~/.profile_or_whatever.

I will consider the consistency arguement, though, it might be a good one.
