I copied the git repository to git.d.o/pkg-qemu/vgabios.git and changed a few things there, see http://anonscm.debian.org/gitweb/?p=pkg-qemu/vgabios.git But I've a question. The orig.tar.gz, it is not orig, since the original tarball contains the binaries built from sources, too, while your rebuild of the orig.tar.gz does not include these.
