You use the sarge version of cdebootstrap to build a etch or sid chroot?
No. Upgrading pbuilder to the version in sid lets apt-get also install
the cdebootstrap version from cdebootstrap.. This is what I wanted to
express by
~$ dpkg --status pbuilder cdebootstrap | grep -e Package -e Version
Package: pbuilder
Version: 0.131
Package: cdebootstrap
Version: 0.3.8
Please compare the versions
~$ apt-cache policy cdebootstrap
cdebootstrap:
Installiert:0.3.8
Mögliche Pakete:0.3.8
Versions-Tabelle:
*** 0.3.8 0
5 http://ftp.debian.de unstable/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
0.3.4 0
50 http://ftp.debian.de sarge/main Packages
This is known to not work because of the changed behaviour of apt and is
fixed in proposed-updates.
But I'm using the apt version from Sarge and I do not really want to scramble
my basically Sarge system with to much sid stuff.
Kind regards
Andreas.
