Needs a completely different "./configure" command line altogether...
the build process is complicated enough as it is right now. I can't
possibly have the time to support yet more packages right now with the
DB transition just ahead. Maybe later...

Correct. But then, the proper way would have been to file a WISHLIST bug.
That having the disaster recovery part of Bacula packaged in Debian does
not mean that it is indeed severity important. Hence, i am downgrading
it immediately.
Point taken, however, and i will try to see how can it be done.
