Package: emacs Version: 23.3+1-5 Followup-For: Bug #649405 I have the same problem.
ibus worked well with emacs for a very long time. But after a recent upgrade(emacs: 23.3+1-4 to 23.3+1-5, ibus: 1.4.0-3 to 1.4.0-4. I'm not sure which one causes this problem), I can't activate ibus in emacs any more. Clicking the ibus tray icon displays a "No input window" entry.
