Package: lirc Version: 0.9.0~pre1-1 Severity: important File: /etc/init.d/lirc
Hello, The instructions (as far as I can make out) say to configure lirc but editing the configuration in /etc/lirc/hardware.conf. However, when I set the LIRCD_CONF variable, it is not recognized and when trying to start lirc I get a message that it is unconfigured and will not be started. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (200, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages lirc depends on: ii libasound2 1.0.25-2 ii libc6 2.13-26 ii libftdi1 0.19-4 ii liblircclient0 0.9.0~pre1-1 ii libusb-0.1-4 2:0.1.12-20 ii lsb-base 3.2-28.1 lirc recommends no packages.
