Hi, I was bugged by Jan Hauke Rahm to triage this bug. He is occasionally able to reproduce it and gave me access to a repository where the issue did show up on his machine. No matter what I tried (changing preferences, clicking around, committing, stashing, etc.) I was unable to reproduce the issue at all.
Note that Jan is using gnome3 and I am using awesome. The usage of gnome3 causes a different gtk layout to be used. I therefore ask further reproducers to report whether gnome3 is in use. Also note that the attached traceback uses gtk2 whereas I have gtk3 installed. Is the issue reproducible with gtk3 at all?
