Hi Michael, I expect gdb from http://backports-master.debian.org/ to work since gdb >= 7.1 supports PIE. Could you please try debugging with it?
You can also submit private bugs at https://bugs.wireshark.org/bugzilla/ and as an upstream developer I can check them. If you can please try reproducing the issue with a later (latest) Wireshark version, the bug may have been fixed already: http://anongit.wireshark.org/git/?p=wireshark;a=history;f=epan/dissectors/packet-nfs.c Cheers, Balint 2012/2/27, Michael Stevens <[email protected]>: > I have a capture file that seems to intermittently trigger it, but I > don't think I can publish it. > > It may be NFS related as I only have NFS packets in the capture file. > I'm flicking between packets with some but not all fields expanded. > > It's also segfaulting sometimes.
