Hello J G, J G Miller [2012-03-05 12:47 +0100]: > dpkg: error processing > /var/cache/apt/archives/cups-filters_1.0.2-1_i386.deb (--unpack): > trying to overwrite '/etc/fonts/conf.d/99pdftoopvp.conf', which is > also in package cups 1.5.2-5
I'm puzzled by this. cups dropped that file in version 1.5.0-16, which is the version cups-filters has Replaces/Breaks: for. How did you manage to install cups 1.5.2-5 without also having cups-filters installed? It's a strict dependency. Or did you perhaps only copy above part from the full apt-get dist-upgrade log? Did the full upgrade involve an upgrade of cups as well?
