Can you please download, build and test the latest i3lock git version? The
following commands should work:

  sudo apt-get build-dep i3lock
  git clone git://code.stapelberg.de/i3lock
  cd i3lock
  make
  ./i3lock

In case it does work, please confirm, in case it does NOT work, please send me
the output of ./i3lock --debug. Beware: The log contains every of your
keypresses, so you should not enter your password.
