The thing you sent to the Debian BTS is an ed-format diff ! Looking at it it seems to just add a new command-line flag for not truncating the address. That's wrong, IMO. I think my patch (with the obvious fix to the tcp/udp string) is far better. It never truncates an IPv6 address when -n is requested, which I think is necessary to preserve the behaviour that people (including scripts) rely on.
