I found a bug which was crashing roxterm-gtk3 when trying to restore a session (probably only if a window had multiple tabs). This bug could presumably cause "undefined behaviour" in GTK2. Please can you check whether correcting that has fixed the bugs you're seeing too.
Fetch it from git with: git clone git://roxterm.git.sourceforge.net/gitroot/roxterm/roxterm `apt-get build-dep roxterm` will fetch all the packages necessary to compile it. Having done that, the easiest way to use roxterm without disturbing installed packages is to run the AppRun script you'll find in its top-level directory. It will automatically compile the code when first run. Do this in a different terminal emulator because having the old version running too will just confuse things. It's normal for roxterm not to restore its previous session unless asked to by the desktop session manager. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
