The bug report (included below), notes that the Alsa-sound-mini-HOWTO is too out of date to be useful, do you agree with that assessment? Also, I noticed that the Alsa-sound-mini-HOWTO is currently in the Older documents section of the alsa-project.org site. The Linux Documentation Project has a similar section that they refer to as Unmaintained, do you think it would be correct to move the Alsa-sound-mini-HOWTO to the Unmaintained section at the LDP site? Do you plan to update the Alsa-sound-mini-HOWTO in the future? Please preserve the CC to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in any replies so that the response will be recorded in the Debian Bug Tracking System. Thank you for your time and consideration. ----- Forwarded message from Thomas Hood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ----- Reply-To: Thomas Hood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Resent-CC: Debian LDP Maintainers <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Resent-Date: Sun, 20 Feb 2005 14:48:02 UTC X-Debian-PR-Message: report 296131 X-Debian-PR-Package: doc-linux-text X-Debian-PR-Keywords: From: Thomas Hood <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Debian Bug Tracking System <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: [Pkg-doc-linux-devel] Bug#296131: Alsa-sound HOWTO out of date X-BeenThere: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Mailman-Version: 2.0.11 Date: Sun, 20 Feb 2005 15:32:28 +0100 X-SA-Exim-Connect-IP: 127.0.0.1 Package: doc-linux-text Version: 2004.11-1 Severity: minor This HOWTO is too out of date to be useful.
