Martin Krafft hit again... see quoted below

Indeed, would be nice probably to have per system/user settings.

ConfigParser's classes allow to read configuration from multiple files,
so they make this feature easy to implement

I know about this. Right now, I use

  impressive -T200 -t Crossfade -d 1200 -M slides.pdf

I'd just like to be able to have those settings permanently stored
so that I can just start a presentation with 'impressive -d 1200
slides.pdf' (and the -d thing should ideally be in an .info file).

Subject: Bug#553020: per-machine settings
X-CRM114-Status: Good ( pR: 20.5939 )

Package: impressive
Version: 0.10.2r-2
Severity: wishlist

I'd like the ability to specify e.g. in ~/.impressive/config or
…/config.py settings that apply to all presentations. For instance,
I don't want any other effects than Crossfade. Modifying
/usr/bin/impressive, which the manpage suggests, is obviously not an
option.

Thanks,
