Hi,
a Debian user reported [1] that the ReleaseNotes.txt file in the source
tarball mentions 1.0 as the latest release.

It actually looks like the file is intentionally updated only for major
releases. However I have to agree with Nicolás that mentioning 1.0 as
the latest release in the "last minute notes" is misleading and provide
the feeling of an outdated file.

What about keeping the file updated with the info from the wiki [2]?
