Subject: [pkg-dhcp-devel] Bug#652739: isc-dhcp-client: dhclient does not
work on network interfaces with checksum offloading
X-Mailer: reportbug 4.12.6

Package: isc-dhcp-client
Version: 4.1.1-P1-15+squeeze3
Severity: normal

I looked through the debian paches and none seems to address this.

When booting Debian (stable) or Ubuntu on network interface with
checksum offloading (eg Xen vif) dhclient throws away all received dhcp
packets because they don't have a correct checksum.
