Package: python2.3-twisted
Version: 1.3.0-6
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable
Hi,
the profile.py module has been removed from the python2.3 >= 2.3.5-1
since it is non-free. Now I get errors starting apps using twistd:
$ /etc/init.d/apt-proxy start
Starting apt-proxyTraceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/twistd", line 34, in ?
from twisted.scripts.twistd import run
File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/twisted/scripts/twistd.py", line 26,
in ?
from twisted.application import app, service
File "/usr/lib/python2.3/site-packages/twisted/application/app.py", line 21,
in ?
import sys, os, pdb, profile, getpass, traceback, signal
ImportError: No module named profile
I suggest disabling the profile import in twistd.
Regards,
Bastian
