... which is clearly *not* the symptom being reported in the original report. A lockup may be due to this same bug, or an unrelated bug, or a bug in your window manager.

After typing a few characters into the location/google bar Firefox freezes.
Forgot to mention that I use the SwitchProxy extension. "~/.firefox/plugins" contains: flashplayer.xpt, libflashplayer.so
Removed XUL.mfasl once between restarts of Firefox.
I didn't get to make my window manager unusable again.
