Package: aptitude
Version: 0.4.4-4+b1
Severity: normal
Dear all,
since upgrading the whole apt infrastructure aptitude is horrible slow
in loading the cache. The problem as mentioned on the status line in
aptitude is the
Intializing package status
which takes some minutes on a rather new Intel Core2, so not an old
processor. Formerly that took a few seconds.
This happened with the upgrade of
apt -> 0.7
aptitude -> 0.4.4-4+b1
Thanks a lot

These bugs were fixed in the above version. I'm still not 100% sure
I understand BTS versioning, but hopefully this'll do the right thing
(leave them open but mark them as fixed in experimental).
