Package: tzdata Version: 2007f-10 Followup-For: Bug #438191
Hi, The same thing happened to me. Reconfiguring tzdata using dpkg-reconfigure restored the old setting; incidentally, dpkg-reconfigure initially suggested "Etc", but once I selected "Europe" it automatically suggested "Paris".
