You need to
rm /usr/src/modass/usr_src/modules/ivtv/driver/Module.symvers and then
force a rebuild using module-assistant (using the -f flag). This is
because old versions of this file can persist and get picked up by the
next build.
This should be fixed in 1.0.2-2 in svn which I am just about to request
an upload of.
