Hmm, it seems that now it works, maybe there were obsolete files in there which messed up the hibernation, I don't know. But I can't reproduce it anymore. If anyone would like to reproduce (and I think this is important from an upgrade PoV) I would like to point out that somewhat recently (2-3 months) I upgraded from etch to lenny.
