with the actual kernel version (2.6.22) the problem does'nt occur again
on my laptop. (maybee also with 2.6.21)

I'm not quite shure because of the reason.

Either the acpi fan modul or fan control works now proper, or get's
loaded to the correct time...
If now the fsck run the cpu fan run's on an low level. :)

I think you can simulate such a problem on the booting process with an
script wich generate high cpu load. You can run the scrpit on different
booting points.
If the fan control works proper the cpu fan runs.
