I'm not a maintainer and this is just FYI:
Should this fix made into ruby-gnome2 0.16.0-9, which was uploaded
today and now in the NEW queue?

Changes: ruby-gnome2 (0.16.0-9) unstable; urgency=low
 .
  * Add debian/patches/poppler-0.6.patch that basically sync poppler/ with
    ruby-gnome2 svn HEAD so that newer poppler are supported
    (Closes: #453169).
  * Actually ship libpoppler-glib-ruby packages.

Many thanks,

-nori
