No it isn't. You need gcc-multilib which pulls in things like gcc-4.2-multilib lib32gcc1 lib32gomp1 libc6-dev-i386 libc6-i386 libc6-dev-i386 only depends on libc6-i386 There is also an g++-multilib, if you need C++.
