Could not reproduce this bug on a "lenny" system with the following
software configuration:

openssl 0.9.8g-3
libc6 2.7-5
libc6-i686 2.7-5
libssl0.9.8 0.9.8g-3
zlib1g 1:1.2.3.3.dfsg-8

Hardware is:
processor : 0
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 13
model name : Intel(R) Celeron(R) M processor 1.40GHz
stepping : 8
cpu MHz : 350.000

fdiv_bug : no
hlt_bug : no

pat clflush dts acpi mmx fxsr sse sse2 ss tm pbe up
bogomips : 2799.63

I hope this helps to narrow down the scope of the problem.

Regards,

Kapil.
