Digging in a little bit, I saw that, of all the products in
/usr/share/zope/Products, only ExternalEditor lacks a ":3.0" suffix:

I thought that was strange, so I took a look at its dependencies. As it turns
out, the version of zope-externaleditor that plone3-site is pulling has no
apparent support for Zope 2.10 (which Plone 3 uses):

It seems to me that plone3-site should depend on zope-externaleditor (>=
