I added a patch to rt2570 in version rt2570/1.1.0+cvs20070927-1 that fixes some incorrect timing, but it may have introduced bugs. The maintainers of the Ralink packages in Debian do not have any hardware supported by rt2570, so we cannot test new packages ourselves. Please could you test this new version of the package:
