Could you upload this file to the bug, or, better, a minimal
version that displays this problem? That would help create a test
suite entry that will detect this problem at build time.

I would be happy to, if I had any idea what to do to correct the
problem. flex was built in a clean virtual machine, and it passed all
the test suite tests, so I am unsure what changes need to be done to
keep this problem from happeining in the future.
