Package: vncserver
Version: 3.3.7-7
Severity: grave
Justification: renders package unusable

Running Xvnc on amd64 produces a segfault. gdb output is nearly
useless:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.

Similar problems reported on suse over a year ago:
http://www.realvnc.com/pipermail/vnc-list/2003-October/041342.html

Same occurs with tightvnc, and according to bug #276238 vnc4 won't even
compile on amd64.

Let me know what else I can do to help figure this out.

Thanks,
Ryan

Hi

The vncserver package has been removed from Debian because of
lacking upstream support. Use vnc4 or tightvnc instead.

Best regards,

// Ola
