I have tried to use this 2.6.25 kernel on four machines so far.
Three of them boot over network (with PXE, TFTP and root over NFS), and
the kernel works fine on them.
Fourth machine is configured to boot from local hard disk, using LILO
with no separate boot partition and XFS root. That machine experiences
the issue described here, i.e. it panics right after starting to boot,
with messages about a ram-disk error which were cited in the first message.
