The deb-Package is libcrypt-smb-perl and it is installed by dependency. If you do not touch the setup defaults, it works out of the box. Have you removed the smb crypt string in the setup? GOsa is not pure debian specific, so the error message above just tells you to try to figure a *possible* error. For debian, it installs /usr/bin/mkntpasswd as a helper binary. Try to execute this one. You can enter this command as the smb-hash generation command in the setup.
