Package: webalizer-stonesteps
Severity: serious

Hi,

I don't consider the webalizer-stonesteps Debian package mature enough
for a stable Debian release. I'm not sure I'll have the time to do the
necessary work for this before the release of lenny.

Users will likely have to spend quite some time to get version 3.0.4.1-2
to work for them. Unlike the original webalizer package,
webalizer-stonesteps does not come with a cronjob, nor does it offer a
debconf-ized configuration system.

If someone is willing to invest some time in this package, it could get
shipped with lenny. See also my RFH in #374455. If no-one steps up
(offering co-maintainership e.g.), I'll likely ask for removal of the
package from the archive.

Bye,

Joost
