We cannot remove the img_convert patch because that will instantly break vlc and other packages that use the old swscaler API. The fact that the debian-multimedia package doesn't include this patch while providing the same binary name has caused us quite a lot of bug reports. Apart from the img_convert patch, I think we have done quite a good job cleaning up the package. If you have other suggestions for improvement, please tell me. However, I do plan to remove that patch in question on the next ffmpeg upstream sync. > Little problem, since april headers files are not at the same place. Excatly. For other readers: The next ffmpeg upstream sync will instantly cause all depending package to FTBFS because applications need to adjust their '#include' lines. This is IMO a no-go for this point of lenny development. After the freeze we plan to maintain such a branch in experimental, but for lenny, it's too late, IMO. -- Gruesse/greetings, Reinhard Tartler, KeyID 945348A4 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
