I'm unable to find a build log for pari (they seem to be missing from
buildd.debian.org). (I'm not involved in the armel team; I discovered
this when investigating the build failure of one of my packages:

and confirmed that the armel pari-gp deb was missing /usr/bin/gp-2.3).
I guess this isn't going to be very debuggable without help from the armel
team.
