I was able to reproduce the bug uim-qt 1.5.1-2 (currently in lenny). I have
also tried to rebuild uim-qt 1.5.1-2 against current lenny (i.e. against Qt
4.4.3), but that didn't make the bug to go away. However, I can confirm that
uim-qt 1.5.3 is compatible with Qt 4.4.3. That's not suprising because
according to uim source NEWS file:

So fixes could be backported or 1.5.3 simply unblocked. However, if you choose
the latter way, you might want to do binNMU first as uim-qt 1.5.3-1 was build
against Qt 4.4.2-2 which had wrong (too loose) shlibs.
