OK, thanks for the feedback. FWIW, I do have the fix now, but it still need some more polishing. Tomorrow I finalize it, and ask on -release what is for them the preferred way to receive the fix for Lenny (either upload via testing-proposed-updates or upload via unstable + unblock request).
